The Happy Health Plan

One of four cookbooks written by the Flynn twins, this is currently my book of choice when creating my weekly meal plans.

The introduction contains a lot of great information, especially if you are just starting out on a plant-based diet and want to know what to eat and why.

Chapters 3-6 explain the different meal plans, which were created with the help of medical experts. If you are looking to change your diet for a specific reason i.e., to get in shape, clear up your skin, reverse heart damage or improve your digestion then you can focus on those specific meal plans and recipes in the book. They also provide a shopping list so you know exactly what you need to buy for the week!

There are a variety of easy recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert. They also have specific sections for soups, salads, pasta dishes and snacks so it’s easy to find a recipe for whatever you are in the mood for.

Whether you are new to plant-based eating or are just looking for some ideas to mix up your meals a bit, I would highly recommend this book!
